This red light is found at the amazingly themed ride Hex at Alton Towers. It is found where the main video plays telling you the legend of the chained oak. It never changes colour to symbalise when the next group of people enter/leave the pre-show, it never turns off, it's always there, although it could be so that people don't panic if the video stops playing. If Alton Towers remove this light for any reason, then I will have to find it and take it, I'm just so in love with it. It is a very dark ride however if you do feel it's too dark DON'T turn on your phone or use a flash because it completely ruins the atmosphere of the amazing ride and it ruins the experience for everyone else (It also ruins my view of the light).

If you wish to view this amazing light, then follow these simple instructions.

1. Queue up for Hex

2. Wait until you enter the second pre-show where the video (the one to the right of this text) plays telling you the story of the chained oak

3. Once in this room, turn around. The light is towards the back-right of this room.

Just for anyone who didn't know, the chained oak tree really does exist. It is located not far away from the resort, in fact you can clearly see Oblivion through the trees when you approach the tree. There is a B&B near the Alton Towers resort called The Chained Oak, this is where the tree is located. It is down a path off to the left of the B&B entrance.
